11/ A VITAMINS FOR HEALTH

Vitamins are essential to life. Without a variety of vitamins, our bodies cannot function properly. Lack of certain vitamins can result in poor health.

Now a growing number of scientific studies suggests that a small group of vitamins may play a bigger part than we previously thought in keeping us healthy. Along with other lifestyle changes like quitting smoking and taking more exercise , the "ACE" vitamins may help to protect us from coronary heart diseases.They may contribute to the prevention of cancer and other diseases. And the best news of all is that we can get them from many of the foods we eat every day.

The "ACE" vitamins are beta - carotene (which the body converts to vitamin A when needed), vitamin C and vitamin E.

Foods that are sources of "ACE" vitamins add colour and enjoyment to any meal, and including them in your daily diet needn't increase your shopping bill.
